The Hamilton Heights boys tennis team swept a young Eastern team 5-0 in a Wednesday dual meet.
The Huskies won all five matches in straight sets. In singles, No. 1 Ben Wolfgang won 6-4, 6-2, No. 2 Nick Rice scored a 6-0, 6-0 shutout and No. 3 Erik Malott was a 6-2, 6-1 winner. No. 1 doubles Josh Russell and Jake Martin got a 6-1, 6-1 victory and No. 2 Colin Weber and Grant Cavanaugh scored a 6-0, 6-0 sweep.
Westfield, ranked No. 22 in the IHSTeCA poll, won a 3-2 thriller over No. 18 Brebeuf Jesuit on Wednesday.
The Shamrocks got wins from No. 1 singles Quentin Markle and No. 2 singles Connor Housefield, then No. 1 doubles Christian Emigh and Brett Barnes won a three-set match to clinch the victory.
Westfield plays at 6 p.m. tonight at Avon.
