After having their 10-game winning streak snapped at Westfield on Tuesday, Feb. 10, Hamilton Heights played at home Saturday, Feb. 14 and got back on the winning track.
The Huskies were able to overcome a slight deficit early on for the one-possession win over Lebanon, 51-48.
The Tigers jumped out to a 17-11 first period lead. But, Huskies got back into it with a 14-9 second to trail just 26-25.
Heights was able to score two more in both the third and fourth to come back enough to beat Lebanon for a three-point win.
Jack Kakasuleff led the Huskies with 13 points, making six of his 12 field goals. Jackson Mikesell joined in double-figures with 10 and seven rebounds. Will DeStefano (seven boards) and Caleb Sullivan both added nine points and Rees Knapp six to help pace Heights.
Hamilton Heights (11-8) visits Lafayette Central Catholic on Friday in the fifth-place game in the Hoosier Conference playoffs.
