Huskies drop rivalry game to Tipton

Hamilton Heights dropped a Hoosier Conference East Division and backyard rivalry game to Tipton 66-55 Friday at the Huskies gym.
The Blue Devils led 15-10 after the first quarter and 33-23 at halftime. Luke Carroll scored 10 points for Heights during the first half, with Dean Mason adding nine points. Tipton went up 44-33 after three periods, then both teams scored 22 points in the fourth. Carroll poured in 12 points, while Tillman Etchison added nine points in that quarter.
Carroll finished the game with a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, and also blocked two shots. Etchison scored 12 points, while Mason had nine points and six rebounds.
The Huskies finished division play 2-2 and are 7-7 overall. Heights hosts Frankton Thursday.
