Huskies drop close one at LN

Hamilton Heights pushed Lawrence North to the wall on Saturday, eventually falling 46-45 in a game at the Wildcats’ gym.

The Huskies trailed LN 13-9 after the first quarter, but came back to lead 24-20 at halftime and 33-28 after three periods. The Wildcats outscored Heights 18-12 in the fourth quarter.

Caymn Lutz scored 16 points and pulled seven rebounds for the Huskies. Max Wahl dished out four assists.

Heights is now 6-11, and hosts West Lafayette on Friday in the seventh-place game of the Hoosier Conference playoffs.
