Lauren Harden of Fishers has been selected to attend the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program’s (NTDP) Spring Training Series, which takes place from May 6 to 9 in Chicago.
Harden, 16, plays volleyball for Hamilton Southeastern High School and Rev Volleyball Academy. Lauren has been awarded honors such as Indiana All-State First Team, All-District, All-County, All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference 1st Team, JVA All National Team, AAU All American, AAU Academic All American, among others.
The NTDP Spring Training Series will give junior athletes the chance to practice with and play against some of the best players in the United States while receiving guidance from top coaches.
Girls U16 through U19 and boys U17-U20 age groups will participate from May 6 to 8, while girls U15 and boys U16 age groups will participate from May 7 to 9.
All training series are conducted by top NTDP coaches throughout the country and features a comprehensive focus on the five pillars of the NTDP: Craft, Mind, Body, Heart and Team. Athletes will also receive complimentary access to the NTDP Academy, giving them further educational opportunities.
Athletes selected for the Training Series were identified and invited based on recommendations from the NTDP Scouting Network. The NTDP Scouting Network serves as the NTDP talent identification process and includes coaches and experts from across the United States.
