Greg Davidson, Hamilton Southeastern Girls Soccer coach, was named the National Girls Soccer Coach of the Year for the Large School Division at the most recent United Soccer Coaches national soccer convention and awards night.

Coach Davidson was named the Indiana Girls Soccer Coach of the Year, then earned Regional Coach of the Year honors (for the region that includes Indiana, Minnesota and Ohio) and then named the National Coach of the Year.  Coach Davidson was honored to represent both HSE and Indiana in providing this kind of recognition.

HSE won the 3A state championship. The Royals went 22-0-1 while scoring 104 goals and allowing only six goals against the entire year. HSE finished ranked No. 1 in the nation in the MaxPreps rankings and No. 2 in the nation by the United Soccer Coaches.

Coach Davidson thanks his family for the years of support. He also shares this award with his coaching staff and players of which this honor they had a part of as well.
