Tilmon Clark has joined Hamilton Southeastern as its new co-athletic director

Clark was approved at Wednesday’s HSE School Board meeting and will join long-time Royals athletic director Jim Self. In a news release on the HSE Athletics website, Self said he is “excited to work with Tilmon, his vision for high school athletics centers around student experience.”

Clark comes from Delta High School, where he served as athletic director for the past four years. He also was the athletic director at Monroe Central for three years. Before moving into administration, Clark was a football coach at various colleges, including Butler Community College, Valdosta State and Ball State, and also served a freelance draft analytic assistant for the Cleveland Browns in 2013.

“This is an incredible opportunity for me, my wife (Courtney) and 16-month old daughter (Charley),” said Clark in the news release. “I look forward to building on the already outstanding academic and athletic traditions at HSE by providing servant leadership that will help develop Royals into difference-makers.”
