Tech Tips
Welcome to another edition of Noble Geeks Tech Tips brought to you by the Hamilton County Reporter.
Ever since the iPhone X came out in November 2017, some of us have used our iPhone in the most frustrating way possible. Apple decided to cancel the home button.
What? Why? Who cares? The phone is thinner. We are putting it in a case anyway, right? I hope, right?! Well, for us newer iPhone users, I have a tip where you can (kind of) bring back the home button.
Behold, the workaround you have been waiting for! You can now tap the Apple logo on the back of your iPhone three times, and it will take you to the main screen, just like a home button. Simply follow these directions and this will get that Apple logo acting as a button.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap on Accessibility.
- Tap on Touch.
- Tap on Back Tap at the bottom.
- Tap on Triple Tap.
- Select the option “Home” and viola, you’re set!
