The Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Show, a locally owned and operated show for homeowners, takes place this weekend, Friday, Feb. 10 to Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Grand Park Events Center in Westfield.
As Indianapolis’s only northside home and garden show, this year’s event features “The Patio,” a brand new tasting area that offers flavors from local wineries, breweries and distilleries that attendees can enjoy during their shopping experience.
You can enjoy the show from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 online in advance, and free for kids aged 12 and under. Parking is free.
Back for its sixth consecutive year, the spring event will provide attendees with inspiration from outdoor and indoor living displays and over 200 exhibitors from Indianapolis’s northside. Showgoers can expect the following this year:
- Outdoor living spaces – Browse through the creations of some of the top suburban Indy area landscapers and outdoor space designers for your home exterior.
- Over 200 exhibitors – Compare and save by finding the experts for your next home improvement project all under one roof.
- Spring marketplace – See double the number of marketplace exhibitors from last spring. Shop many of our unique, handmade items available from local artists and crafters.
- Plant Market – The Plant Market is also doubling in size. It will feature many indoor plants and informal workshops on macramé, leatherwork, terrarium gardening and more.
- The Patio – This new tasting area will offer flavors from local wineries, distilleries, and breweries to try before you buy your own take home bottles.
Kids’ Day on Sunday
- Silly Safaris animal shows where children can learn about exotic animals.
- Meet & greet and photo opportunities with Cinderella and Prince Charming.
- Magician Marcus Lehman for magic and entertainment. Kids 12 and under get in free any day.
- Inflatables & bounce houses – Let the kids burn off some energy on the inflatables. These are available during all show hours and free for use.
- Blackstone-a-Day giveaway – Sign up online or at the show for your chance to win one of three Blackstone Griddle/Grills that will be giving away at the conclusion of each day.
“The Spring Marketplace is designed to connect homeowners with local businesses to discuss home improvement and home building needs,” said show owner Donell Heberer Walton. “We’re excited about this year’s event as it’ll offer an enhanced plant market, wine, beer and spirit samples, spring and home decor, and an entire kids’ day filled with fun activities.”
