Hamilton Southeastern won an all-county game over Hamilton Heights, 16-6 in six innings, Saturday, May 9 at the Royals’ Ken Seitz Field.
Jackson Bixler, Parker O’Steen and Cy Cole all had three hits for Southeastern, with Bixler hitting both a triple and a double. O’Steen hit two doubles and Clark Bucher hit one double. O’Steen drove in four runs, while Bucher and Cole each batted in three runs. Bixler scored four runs and Bucher scored three.
A.J. Eikenberry pitched three innings for the win, striking out three. Kaden Scholl struck out three in three innings of relief.
Brennen Heckman got two hits for the Huskies, with Josh Newton smacking a two-run double.

Southeastern had another offensive explosion Monday, beating the Indianapolis Kings 17-13 at Ken Seitz Field.
O’Steen drove in five runs, all on two home runs. O’Steen blasted a two-run homer in the fourth inning, then cracked a three-run home run that was part of an eight-run sixth inning. Kian Kelly tripled in two runs during that inning as well; he finished the game with three RBIs.
Cole, Chase Bradle, Bucher, Alex Shepherd and Nick Bach each hit one double. Kelly drove in four runs, with Shepherd batting in three runs. Bucher and O’Steen both scored three runs, while Bradle finished with three hits.
Trey McManama got the pitching win, with two strikeouts in three innings.
The Royals are 17-7 and begin a Hoosier Crossroads Conference series with Westfield Thursday at home.

Heights dropped a 7-2 game at Mt. Vernon Monday.
The Huskies scored one run in the fifth inning; Andrew Kappes got home on PJ Wright’s sacrifice fly. Dillon Pitts singled in Newton for a seventh-inning run.
Heights is 6-12 and hosts McCutcheon Thursday.
