On Monday, Duke Energy employees teamed up to stuff nearly 250 backpacks for Noblesville students. Duke Energy’s Community Relations Manager Mark LaBarr said the backpacks will be distributed to schools, churches and other community locations for distribution to needy students of all grades in Noblesville.
“Kids are our future leaders and Duke Energy is proud to support such a worthy community event,” said LaBarr.
Supplies for the backpacks were provided by Noblesville Schools Education Foundation (NSEF) during the Stuff the Bus event. The organization is still accepting school supply donations at the Noblesville Educational Service Center, 18025 River Road, Noblesville.
