Help Cicero Kiwanis celebrate Independence Day

The Kiwanis Club of Cicero will hold a community breakfast and silent auction on Saturday, July 7 to celebrate Independence Day.

The event will be held at the Cicero Christian Church, 1715 Stringtown Pike, Cicero. The breakfast is from 8 to 11 a.m. The silent auction run from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

All funds raised will benefit children in the community, so please consider donating items.

Kiwanis is a non-profit global organization with members who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

In the Cicero community, the Kiwanis Club provides scholarships to local high school students, supports schools through donations of school supplies, holiday help and funds for school programs, provides food and assistance to the local food pantry, and supports local veterans, Hamilton North Library and Hope Family Care Center. The Kiwanis Club also supports families and individuals in need or in crisis and it helps the community-at-large through donations to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
