Heights issues statement following RipFest diving coach arrest

Hamilton Heights School Corporation issued the following statement after Tuesday’s arrest of RipFest diving coach Johel E. Ramirez Suarez:

Johel E. Ramirez Suarez, a Hamilton County diving coach, has been arrested on multiple charges of sexual misconduct. Suarez was an employee of RipFest Diving Academy. The Academy utilizes multiple facilities around the county for its training and conditioning including the aquatic center at Hamilton Heights High School in Arcadia. Suarez is not an employee of Hamilton Heights High School and has no affiliation with Hamilton Heights School Corporation.
