Hamilton Heights’ boys got off to a good start against Hagerstown Tuesday, and that carried the Huskies to a 74-58 victory over Hagerstown in a home game.
Heights led 21-8 after the first quarter, and held steady in the second period, leading 36-22 at halftime. The Huskies took further control in the third quarter, pouring in 23 points for a 59-40 advantage.
Sam Dawson had another sensational shooting night, draining five 3-pointers for 25 points. Maddox Bohland added 21 points, and also had seven rebounds and seven steals. Tillman Etchison scored 18 points and handed out six assists, while John Irion dished out five assists.
Heights is 5-10 and travels to Tipton Friday for a Hoosier Conference East Division game.
