The Hoosier Crossroads Conference announced its All-Conference baseball and softball teams earlier this week.
In the team standings, Westfield and Zionsville finished tied for the team championship. Each school put together a 12-2 record in conference play, and thus were given four players on the First Team. The Shamrocks’ players named as First Team are Keaton Mahan, Quentin Markle, Logan Nickel and Gage Stanifer.
The three other Hamilton County HCC teams all got two players on the list. Fishers’ First Team players are Jack Brown and Tate Warner, Hamilton Southeastern’s First Team honorees are Hunter Dilts and Sam Reagan, and Noblesville’s Kolbi Kazmierski and Ethan Leslie received First Team honors as well.
All four county schools also had two players each named to the Second Team. They are as follows:
Fishers: Jack Braun, Carson Dunn.
Hamilton Southeastern: John McCall, Noah Wolf.
Noblesville: Dean White, Lucas Stephan.
Westfield: Trey Dorton, Maximus Webster.
Here are the final HCC standings: Westfield 12-2, Zionsville 12-2, Brownsburg 8-6, Fishers 7-7, Hamilton Southeastern 5-9, Noblesville 5-9, Avon 5-9, Franklin Central 12-2.
UNBEATEN FLASHES
In softball, Franklin Central was an undefeated conference champion, compiling a 7-0 record. The Flashes were followed by Avon 6-1, Noblesville 5-2, Fishers 4-3, Brownsburg 3-4, Hamilton Southeastern 2-5, Zionsville 1-6, Westfield 0-7.
Eight county players received First Team honors in softball. They are as follows:
Fishers: Olivia Latimer, Hannah Mays.
Hamilton Southeastern: Ava Aguilar, Olivia Howard.
Noblesville: Ella White, Abby Harvey, Cameron Grayson.
Westfield: Avery Parker.
The following players were named to the HCC Second Team:
Fishers: Kaylee Kardash, Emily Walsh.
Hamilton Southeastern: Jenna Chase.
Noblesville: Reis Sjoholm, Lauren DeRolf.
Westfield: Maggie Roh.
