HCAA artists’ work on display at Art Gallery at Fishers City Hall

The Fishers Arts Council will hold a free public artist reception for the artists of the Hamilton County Artists’ Association (HCAA) and Craig Ogden on from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 9 in the Art Gallery at City Hall, Fishers. The HCAA artists are part of the 2021 Season of Art presented by the Fishers Arts Council. The HCAA exhibit will be on display in the main galleries through July 29.

Besides the HCAA exhibit, Craig Ogden will begin his three-month exhibit in The Alcove at City Hall. His work is driven by the exercise of expressionism through abstract painting. His exhibit will continue through the end of August.

In all, there will be 60 paintings on exhibit in the galleries. The artists exhibiting are Ladan Abbaspour, Margot Bogue, Simona Buna, Regina Bunting, John Dierdorff, Karen Fehr, Brad Fields, Melinda Hamilton, Michael Jack, Mary Jane Keys, Craig Ogden, Sue Payne, Kay Richards, Joanne Roeder, Mark Rouse, Mansoureh Sameni, Sheldon Shalley, Tresa Steenberg, Walt Thacker, Linda Tyler and Elaine Wolfe.

As always, the art is for sale. The gallery is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday during the Fishers Farmers Market season.
