‘Hawks fall to Chargers

The Sheridan boys basketball fell to North Montgomery 47-31 in a Tuesday game at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks led the Chargers 14-9 after the first quarter, with Ethan Moistner scoring seven points. North Montgomery came back in the second period, putting in 18 points to take a 27-26 halftime lead. Moistner had two 3-pointers in that quarter. The Chargers then took over in the second half, outscoring Sheridan 20-5.
Moistner led the ‘Hawks with 14 points, including three 3s. Caleb Wright and Evan Grinstead both made one 3-pointer as well.
Sheridan is 2-8 and travels to Tri-Central on Friday for a Hoosier Heartland Conference girls-boys doubleheader.
