Sheridan won a hard-fought game with Faith Christian 73-67 Tuesday at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks led 22-17 in a high-scoring first quarter. Devon Hamilton scored seven points, while Trey Page made two 3-pointers.
Hamilton added another five points in the second quarter, part of a 20-point period for Sheridan. The Hawks led 42-36 at halftime.
Sheridan was up 58-51 going into the third quarter and held its lead in the fourth for the victory. Jax Peerman helped out with two second-half triples. Both he and Hamilton scored eight points in that half.
Hamilton led the Blackhawks’ scoring with 20 points. Peerman scored 16, including four 3s, and Page finished 15, hitting three 3s.
Sheridan is 2-0 and plays a Hoosier Heartland Conference game Friday at Clinton Central.
