Hamilton County Tourism, Inc. is again one of the 2024 Best Places to Work in Indiana, marking the fifth time the organization has earned the designation from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
The statewide awards program evaluates organizations that voluntarily participate and honors those that earn high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement in the workplace.
“Destination managers and the community’s hospitality industry work to ensure the best possible experience is enjoyed by our visitors,” Hamilton County Tourism President/CEO Brenda Myers said. “Demonstrating that same hospitality and support to this incredible tourism team just makes sense.”
Companies from across the state participate in a two-part survey process to determine if they are a Best Places to Work in Indiana. The first part evaluates each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics and is worth approximately 20 percent of the total evaluation score.
The second part surveys employees to measure their experience in the workplace. The Employee Feedback Survey is worth approximately 80 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and final rankings. Workforce Research Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Indiana, analyzed the data.
Final rankings will be announced at an awards ceremony May 8 at the Indiana Convention Center and be published in the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice magazine after the event.
