Hamilton County Tourism named ‘Best Place to Work’ in Indiana for seventh year

Organization ranks No. 7 in Small Company category statewide

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce named Hamilton County Tourism, Inc. to its Best Places to Work in Indiana list for the seventh year. Hamilton County Tourism, Inc. placed seventh out of 28 in the overall rankings for the Small Company category, which was announced at the 2026 Best Places to Work in Indiana Awards Dinner on May 13.

The statewide survey and awards program is designed to evaluate participating organizations and honor those with the highest levels of employee satisfaction and engagement in the workplace.

“This recognition is a reflection of a team that genuinely believes in our organization’s mission and the impact it’s making on the community and the visitor experience,” said Hamilton County Tourism President and Chief Executive Officer Karen Radcliff. “When the team is engaged, that energy shows up in the work they do, and ultimately, in the destination itself. I couldn’t be prouder of the people who show up every day and make this organization what it is.”

The Best Places to Work program, managed by Workforce Research Group, evaluates organizations through a two-part process combining an assessment of workplace policies and practices with a direct employee survey measuring satisfaction and engagement. Combined scores determine the final rankings.

Some of the attributes that have elevated Hamilton County Tourism in the surveys through the years include its professional development opportunities, a collaborative team environment and the feeling of purpose-driven work.
