Fishers High School’s Justin Kirby named Player of the Year

The Hamilton County Reporter is announcing its All-County Boys Basketball team today.
Fishers senior Justin Kirby is the Reporter’s Player of the Year. The Miami (Ohio) recruit was an integral part of the Tigers’ 30-1 season and journey to a Class 4A runner-up finish. Kirby, who is an Indiana All-Star for 2025, averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
Guerin Catholic senior Bryson Cardinal was the county’s leading scorer with 19.1 points and also the top rebounder with 9.4 per game. Cardinal has received Division I offers, including Eastern Illinois and Missouri State.
Noblesville’s Justin Curry is one of two Junior All-Stars on the Millers’ team. Curry helped Noblesville to a 19-6 record, averaging 15.6 points per game and led the team in rebounding with 5.6 per contest.
Another Fishers player, sophomore, Jason Gardner Jr., was another key factor in the Tigers’ remarkable season. Gardner led the very balanced Fishers team in scoring with 14.5 points per game and led in assists with 5.3 per contest.
The other Noblesville junior All-Star is Baron Walker and he rounds out the First Team. Walker averaged 15.7 points per game to lead the Millers and was also strong in rebounds with 4.0 and assists with 2.7 per game.
