Hamilton County leading state in employment rates

According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Hamilton County had the second-lowest unemployment rate in the state during the month of April. Adams, Bartholomew, Daviess, Hamilton and Kosciusko counties all had 2.0 percent unemployment, well below the state average of 2.7 percent. Only Dubois, Elkhart and LaGrange counties had a lower rate at 2.0 percent unemployment.
