Guerin Catholic dropped a Circle City Conference game to Roncalli 62-36 Tuesday at the Eagles Nest.
The Royals led 12-8 after the first quarter, then poured in 20 points in the second quarter for a 32-16 halftime lead. The Golden Eagles matched Roncalli in the third period with both teams scoring 16 points, including two 3-pointers from Annie Murphy. But a 14-4 fourth quarter clinched the game for the Royals.
Murphy, Ava Bills and Emery Cardinal all scored eight points for Guerin Catholic.
The Golden Eagles are 1-3 in the conference and 7-11 overall. They host Lebanon Saturday afternoon.
