The Carmel softball team dropped a 7-1 game Friday at New Palestine.
The Greyhounds scored their run in the seventh inning when Bella Davis doubled in Alex Longstreth. Grace Erickson had two hits for Carmel, with Sophie Esposito, Longstreth and Jayden Kleiner also getting one hit each.
Carmel is 1-5 and plays at Ben Davis on Monday.
