Governor Mike Braun announced on Friday, Jan. 2 new appointments to various state boards and commissions. The following individuals are from Hamilton County.
- James Snyder of HKW, Inc. was named to the Board of Directors of the Secondary Market for Education Loans; term expires Dec. 31, 2029.
- Julie Griffith was named to the Ball State University Board of Trustees; term expires Dec. 31, 2029.
- David Holt of Church Church Hittle + Antrim was named to the Distressed Unit Appeal Board; term expires Dec. 31, 2029.
- Doug Klink of Community Health Network was named to the Indiana Motorsports Commission; term expires Dec. 31, 2029.
- Jamie Smith of the State of Indiana was named to the Statewide Domestic Violence Fatality Review Committee; term expires Dec. 31, 2027.
- Kimberly Minniear of the State of Indiana was named to the Statewide Child Fatality Review Committee. She serves at the pleasure of the governor.
- Kevin Ward of Fishers Dental Group was named to the State Board of Dentistry; term expires Nov. 30, 2029.
- Allison Karns of Allison Transmission was named to the Board of Directors of the Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites; term expires June 30, 2028.
- Matthew Strzynski was named to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Commission; term expires Dec. 31, 2029.
- Michael Thibideau of Invest Hamilton County was named to the Commission on Rehabilitation Services; term expires Dec. 31, 2027.
