GOP pork roast rescheduled

By FRED SWIFT

The Carmel Clay Republican pork roast postponed from its original Sept. 21 date is now scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 5 on the grounds of the Herb and Sue Miller’s home, located at 11300 Haverstick Road, Carmel.

Threatening weather caused the postponement.

The 18th annual event will feature a pork chop dinner followed by remarks from Sheriff Dennis Quakenbush and Carmel Police Chief James Barlow. The outdoor event begins at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 for dinner and is open to the public.
