The Carmel girls golf team won the Woodland Invitational Wednesday at Woodland Country Club.
The Greyhounds scored 148 to Guerin Catholic’s 173 and Brebeuf Jesuit’s 193. Carmel’s Katie Kuc was the meet medalist with a 33. Other Greyhound scores were Ava Hedrick 37, Sydney Longstreth 39, Ava Nguyen 39 and Elizabeth Hedrick 40.
“What a great end to our regular season play,” said Carmel coach Kelly Kluesner. “The Greyhounds played with confidence and came away with awesome scores today. The girls played smart, avoided the big numbers and took advantage of some birdie opportunities. I’m proud of them and how they are playing as a team going into the start of the State Tournament on Friday.”

Noblesville dropped a close dual met on Wednesday to Zionsville, 148-151, in its final regular-season match of the year.
Scoring for the Millers were Sarah Brenneman 37, Caroline Whallon 38, Ellie Karst 38 and Taylor Caldwell 39.
Noblesville won its Senior Night meet on Tuesday, beating Brownsburg 176-177 Tuesday at Fox Prairie Golf Course.
Bella Deibel scored a 41 to earn co-medalist honors.

Hamilton Heights won a Tuesday 4-way match at Chippendale Golf Club.
The Huskies scored 189, followed by Eastern 200, Alexandria 213 and Taylor 240. Heights’ Sydni Zebrauskas was the meet medalist with a 39. Other Huskies scores were Ellie Arrowood 47, Rebekah Steffen 50, Kaylee Rhoton 53, Alyx Harley 54 and Anna Rickey 66.
Fishers won its Senior Night meet with Lawrence North 190-218 on Tuesday.
Tigers senior Kaitlyn Brunnemer was a co-medalist with a round of 41, with senior Caitlyn Kim carding a 43. Other Fishers scores were Kristi Lilek 50, Lilly McVay 56, Kaelyn Tai 56 and Sarah Majeski 61.
