Carmel’s Haylin Harris finished as the runner-up in the Indiana Women’s Golf Association State Amateur tournament, which took place this week at the Kokomo Country Club.
Harris scored a one-over par 211 for the 54-hole tournament. That included a four-under 66 for her second round. Harris had 11 birdies for the event, with five of them coming in the second round.
Fishers’ Morgan Lewis tied for ninth in the event with a score of 223. Lewis had five birdies during the tournament.
