Guerin led 14-0 after the first quarter, with Sam Miller throwing a touchdown pass to Jack Cherry, and Ryan Zimmerman connecting with Ryan Glenn on another TD throw. The Golden Eagles then enjoyed a 28-13 halftime lead, with Justin Zdobylak rushing for a score and Will Fremion making a long touchdown reception.
