Golden Eagles get tough win at Pendleton Heights

Guerin Catholic’s boys won a tough game at Pendleton Heights 44-42 on Tuesday.

The game was close throughout, with the Arabians leading 8-5 after one quarter. The Golden Eagles came back to tie the contest at 21-21 by halftime, then held their largest lead of the game at 34-27 late in the third quarter.

Carter Murans scored 18 points. Guerin Catholic had 16 team assists on 19 field goals; Hayden Rogers dished out seven assists and Zachary Tansel handed out four.

The Golden Eagles are 3-2 and host Lafayette Central Catholic on Friday.
