Westfield Washington Schools gearing up for back-to-school bash like no other

Submitted by Westfield Washington Schools

As one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation, Westfield is gearing up for another year of growth, connection, and excellence – and there’s no better way to kick it off than with the return of “Rock the Block,” the beloved back-to-school celebration hosted by Westfield Washington Schools (WWS).

This free, family-friendly event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 at Westfield High School, 18250 N. Union St. It will bring together students, families, staff, local businesses, and community organizations for an evening of games, activities, and meaningful engagement.

“Rock the Block is our way of bringing together the entire Westfield community as we prepare for another year of excellence,” said Ashley Knott, Director of Communications and Engagement for WWS. “It’s more than just a celebration – it’s a chance for families to connect with the incredible people, programs, and partners that support our schools year-round.”

Thank you to these generous sponsors

This year’s event would not be possible without the support of several dedicated sponsors, whose generosity ensures that Rock the Block remains free and accessible for all attendees. Special thanks to:
