The Westfield Lions Club will hold the club’s 89th annual Famous Fish Fry on Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Westfield Lions Club House, 120 Jersey St., Westfield. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m.
This year, MetroNet Westfield will be sponsoring the event that sees more than 300 pounds of North Atlantic cod fried to perfection.
Fish Fry event chairman Jeff Larrison said, “This is always a fun event. It is amazing how the community takes to this. We have help from our Leo Club, the Lions High School affiliate, and friends and neighbors. It has become a real gathering.”
The club’s Fish Fry has become an end-of-summer tradition for Westfield that brings neighbors and friends out to help support the many causes the Lions Club supports.
