The Guerin Catholic boys basketball team picked up another close win on Tuesday, beating Pendleton Heights 71-68 on the road.
After finishing the first quarter tied at 12-12, the Golden Eagles took a 31-28 lead by halftime. Guerin Catholic scored 20 points in each of the next two periods, and that was enough to get the win.
Joseph Bobilya had an outstanding performance, hitting six 3-pointers on his way to 33 points. Bernie McGuinness reached double-double status with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Kaleb Edwards added 10 points. The Golden Eagles had 20 team assists, with McGuinness handing out six, Kameron Osswald dishing out five and Cameron Weitzel providing four.
Guerin Catholic is 4-2 and hosts Heritage Christian on Friday in a Circle City Conference game.
