Fuel Church of Westfield, 18686 Eagletown Road, will celebrate Easter online, despite the difficult circumstances going on in the world today. While the method has definitely changed, the message hasn’t, and the church’s vision remains the same: “We exist so that people near and far from God can be filled (fueled) with the Grace and Hope found in Jesus Christ.”
“It’s very exciting to be able to continue to fill people up with God’s love, peace and hope, especially during the current crisis,” said Senior Pastor Jacob Burgei. “There may be some social distancing, but there doesn’t have to be spiritual distancing.” Burgei and his wife, Tara, are excited to be able to provide all of these wonderful ways for families to celebrate Easter weekend.
“We are blessed to be able offer live streams of our Worship Experiences, starting with a Good Friday evening service at 7:30 p.m. on our Fuel Church Facebook page and then 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday, and then on Monday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., we will provide our Easter Worship Experiences,” Burgei said. “We will also be providing some really cool Fuel Kids’ activities and videos for families to take part in together. We are also proud to be able to provide hundreds of Easter Kits to our Fuel Families during this trying time. Each kit will provide Easter eggs with the Easter story told as they open each egg. A sure way to “bring to life” what this weekend really represents.”
