The Friends of Fishers Political Action Committee’s (FoF PAC) mission is to help elect school board candidates committed to restoring academic excellence in HSE Schools. FoF’s main priority consists of electing a new school board on Nov. 8 who are dedicated to bringing back the basics in public school education as a priority.
On Thursday, FoF announced its strong support of the following HSE School Board Candidates:
- District 1: Tiffany Pascoe
- District 2: Juanita Albright
- District 3: Dawn Lang
- District 4: Ben Orr
FoF supports these candidates who are committed to the goals valued by FoF: (1) focusing on academic excellence, (2) partnering with parents/guardians, (3) attracting, retaining and rewarding high performing employees, and (4) ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
FoF says that electing a new school board is the most important action the Fishers community can take this year to “begin restoring public confidence in our schools and making academic performance the top priority.”
FoF will play host to the first in a series of receptions from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10 to allow members of the Fishers community to personally meet the candidates, sign up to volunteer, and raise money for the fall election campaign.
