Free ribs & pulled pork at Hamilton County Kids Coats fundraiser

Hamilton County Kids Coats will hold a Rib Fest fundraiser this Sunday, Sept. 4 at Bier Brewery North, 13720 N. Meridian St., Carmel. Come out and do your part to make sure no kid goes without a coat this winter.

  • 7:30 a.m. Bike Ride: There is a long and a short ride. Thank you to Team Heroes for leading the way!
  • 8 a.m. 5K run/walk sponsored by Carmel Runners Club. Patrick’s Kitchen will provide breakfast for the riders and runners this year.
  • 3 to 10 p.m. Live Music by The Cosmic Situation & Big in Belgium
  • 3 p.m. until they’re gone: Free ribs and pulled pork. Monetary donations are encouraged – it’s for the kids.
  • 4 to 8 p.m. Silent Auction: Over $3,500 in biddable items for all budgets. Colts tickets, jewelry, and gift cards at local restaurants and retail stores. Bring your checkbook or pay online.

Hamilton County Kids Coats, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is different from other coat giveaways in that your donated coats are given to people in the towns where they live. New and gently-used winter coats and winter wear is accepted in all sizes, infant to adult 5XL. Don’t have a coat? Donate money so this year’s this year’s inventory can be completed.
