Franciscan Physician Network welcomes new gastrointestinal surgeon

Kirpal Singh, MD, FACS, has joined Franciscan Physician Network as an advanced gastrointestinal and general surgeon at North Indy Surgical in Carmel.

Dr. Singh provides several procedures, including treatments for oncology, hernia repair, colorectal procedures, liver/pancreas and biliary surgery.

Dr. Singh will have both clinic and surgical procedural time at the medical office building at 12188-B N. Meridian St., Suite 250, Carmel.

Dr. Singh specializes in general surgery with advanced laparoscopy, robotics, and endoscopy. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Before joining Franciscan Physician Network, he worked in a group practice on Indianapolis’ north side.

He completed fellowships in laparoscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis and a surgical residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse and received his undergraduate degree (with honors) in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.

An Indianapolis resident, he is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association.
