Hamilton County had four divers qualify for the state meet after their performance at Tuesday’s Fort Wayne South Side diving regional.
Carmel’s Helena Gibson was the top local diver, placing second with 403.35 points. Noblesville’s Eryn McMahon finished fourth by scoring 368.40 points. Hamilton Heights’ Campbell Lively-Mason placed fifth with 365.55 points, while Melaina Munson was sixth, totaling 365.50 points.
The top eight divers from each of the four regionals advance to the state meet, which takes place Saturday at the IU Natatorium.
Two other divers participated at the regional. Carmel’s Eeva-Liisa Gibson was ninth with 350.80 points and Hamilton Southeastern’s Zoe Rehm was 18th with 194.40 points.
