The Museum of 20th Century Warfare at Fort Harrison State Park will host a World War II Battle of the Bulge re-enactment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8.

The re-enactment will begin near the park’s Saddle Barn and will end near the Camp Glenn Historic District. Viewing areas will be available for visitors to observe the re-enactors throughout their path of travel. Visitors are advised to find parking near the Saddle Barn where museum volunteers will direct them to the nearest spectator station. Visitors with limited mobility are advised to arrive after noon, when spectator stations will be more easily accessible.
The event will feature exhibits, uniforms, and weapons used during the war. Additionally, the museum will host a stand-alone Battle of the Bulge display, which exhibits World War II items and illustrates the day-to-day happenings of the battle. It is open noon to 4 p.m. Fridays through Sundays through Jan. 22.
The re-enactors are volunteer military historians who work to bring history to life. The Museum of 20th Century Warfare is a volunteer-run, non-profit museum whose mission is to honor veterans through service and education with integrity. The museum has a schedule of military events at Fort Harrison State Park throughout the year.
