Boo Bash
Fishers Parks & Recreation will host its annual Boo Bash celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 on the Central Green. A Sensory Friendly Hour will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. for children with special needs.
Road closures will begin at 3 p.m. along Municipal Drive from North Street to Fishers Center Drive and along the Central Green to 116th Street. Closures will be in place for the duration of the event. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, vendors will be unloading in the outside lanes and parking spots on Municipal Drive along Central Green, so please drive with caution. All street parking along Municipal Drive will be restricted beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday.
Event parking is available in the Flats at Switch parking garage located to the east of City Hall (must enter from North Street), as well as in the new Police Station and Meyer Najem garages, and in the back Nickel Plate District AMP lots. There is also free parking located throughout the Nickel Plate District.
Allisonville Road & 131st Street
131st Street at Allisonville Road will be closed to all traffic beginning on or after Nov. 2. Signs will be installed with detour information. This is an active construction site with reduced speed limits.
136th Street & Southeastern Parkway
The traffic pattern has changed in this area. Please drive with caution.
Florida Road
Florida Road between Luxhaven Road and Martha Street is closed for the rehabilitation of Bridge 192 (Florida Road over Fall Creek) by the Hamilton County Highway Department. The road will be closed to all thru traffic and will tentatively re-open before Nov. 3.
Florida Road & 113th Street
The intersection of 113th Street and Florida Road is closed for the realignment and construction of a new roundabout at the intersection. The closure is expected to last appropriately 90 days. See the Detour Map.
106th Street
106th Street is closed to through traffic from Eller Road to Allisonville Road and from Allisonville Road to Hague Road for the 106th Street Infrastructure Project. 106th Street is also closed to through traffic between Hague Road and the Crosspoint Boulevard/Lantern Road roundabout.
