Mila Shah, 11, Fishers, earned the title of Grand Champion Jr. Pygmy Goat Showman at the Indiana State Fair. A two-year member of 4-H and a student at Hamilton Southeastern Intermediate School, she is the daughter of Sundesh and Sneha Shah.
Besides pygmy goats, photography was Mila’s other 4-H project. Her hobbies include crafting, goats and tennis. She belongs to a ukulele club as well. Mila’s future plans include getting a farm and studying agriculture and animals. She says that being a 4-H member has taught her the proper way to care for animals, and showmanship.
