The Fishers Century Club has announced that it has surpassed $20,000 in donations to other local charities in less than two years since its formation.
The group, which started in June 2021, is made up of a collection of men from the Fishers area who meet quarterly and each pledge to give $100 to a selected charity that is presented by other members at the meetings.
Previous winners of the group members’ quarterly 501(c)(3) donations include Juvenile Justice Mentoring, Helping Challenged Children, A Kid Again, The Cooper House, Kammy’s Kause, M.A.S.H. Ministries, and HSE Young Life. The donations have ranged from $2,100 to $4,400 depending on the quarterly meeting attendance. Meetings are typically held on a Tuesday in March, June, September, and December.
“The Cooper House greatly appreciated the support we received from the Fishers Century Club,” said Kyle Howe, Co-Founder and President of The Cooper House. “It’s fantastic to see a group of guys come together to learn about local charity groups and vote to support them. The support we received helped our organization continue its service of providing a safe and secure home environment for foster children to meet with their families.”
The Fishers Century Club’s next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at the auditorium at Launch Fishers. Complimentary beverages are provided for attendees.
“Our attendees are committed to making a difference in our community, and we’re thrilled to have reached this significant giving milestone in such a short time,” said Adam Kallick, founding member of the Fishers Century Club. “We hope to continue making a tangible difference while also be exposed to several deserving organizations in the area. Additionally, the benefit of meeting others and networking with other guys in the community is a plus.”
The Fishers Century Club’s success is a testament to the power of numbers coming together. Through its efforts, the group has helped strengthen and support local nonprofits, and has made a real impact to organizations that are doing great work in the community. Attendees are encouraged to bring a charity idea.
“We’re incredibly proud of our accomplishments so far, but we know there’s still so many more charities to learn about and support,” said regular attendee and Fishers resident Paul Hevesy. “We’re excited to continue spreading the word to build a larger group of guys where we eventually hit 100 guys giving $100 per quarter, for an impact of $10,000 to a local charity every meeting, how great would that be! I encourage guys in Fishers and the surrounding area to come hear about local organizations and join us.”

About the Fishers Century Club
Fishers Century Club is an organized group of guys that was founded by a local Fishers resident and modeled after a similar concept in Zionsville. The Fishers Century Club hosted its first event in June 2021. The goal is simple: a group of guys get together for a small commitment and use the power of numbers to make a big impact on local charitable organizations and the community. Meetings are quarterly in March, June, September, and December. All funds are given directly to the winning charity that is selected at the meetings. Eligible charities must be a 501(c)(3) to be considered.
