The Fishers boys basketball team got back on the winning track Tuesday by beating Fort Wayne Carroll 50-44 at the Tiger Den.
Fishers got off to a good start, leading 16-6 after one quarter. Keenan Garner scored six points during that period. The Tigers extended their lead to 26-14 at halftime, with James Stasey contributing six second-quarter points. The Chargers came back to within 33-26 after three periods, but Fishers was able to hang on in the fourth. JonAnthony Hall helped out in the final period with six points.
Justin Kirby came off the bench to lead the Tigers’ scoring with 11 points. Hall added nine points.
The Tigers are 8-8 and host Avon Friday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
