One of the Midwest’s largest and most popular wine events takes its final bow at Downtown Indianapolis’ Military Park on Saturday, June 4.
The 22nd Vintage Indiana Wine Festival is Indiana’s biggest celebration of wines produced in the Hoosier state, says Katie Benner, Vintage Indiana event organizer. “Unfortunately, elimination of state funding for the Indiana Wine Grape Council will result in 2022 being the festival’s last year.”
“We are proceeding with planning for this final Vintage celebration, determined to make it extra special for the thousands of fans who look forward to coming to Military Park and sampling our fabulous Indiana wines each and every spring,” Benner said. “There will be a full complement of wineries, food vendors, Indiana artisans, a trio of educational seminars and all-day musical entertainment.”
General admission tickets are $50 per person, with designated driver tickets priced at $15 each. Details about a $100 “Very Sweet Ticket” will be announced on May 1. The popular Vintage/JW Marriott hotel package, consisting of a standard room and two general admission tickets, is available again. For complete ticket information and to purchase, go to vintageindiana.com/tickets.
All tickets for the 2022 wine fest are pre-sale only, with no on-site ticket sales. The festival is an exclusive 21-and-over event – everyone will be asked to present ID for entry into Military Park.
Gates open at 10:30 a.m. for the food truck experience and Indiana artisans; wine vendors open at 11 a.m. All sales inside the park will be by credit or debit card only (no cash).

“We look forward to welcoming all of our fans on June 4 and making this a never to be forgotten send-off for Vintage Indiana!” Benner said.
