The window to place orders for native trees in the Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District native tree sale closes soon.
A total of 46 species of native trees and shrubs are available for just $29 per three-gallon containerized specimen. Pre-orders are required before Wednesday, Sept. 22. Orders can be picked up Friday, Oct. 1 at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Details on tree species and growing conditions, as well as online ordering, are available at hamiltonswcd.org.
The tree sale is the district’s largest annual fundraiser. All proceeds go back into conservation and education in Hamilton County.
