‘Fashion at the Florence’ offers preview of Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre’s upcoming season

From the editors: We can’t be certain, but this costume modeled by Abigail Lessaris bears some semblance to the one worn by the actress Brigitte Helm during the fever-dream dance scene in the 1927 German expressionist science-fiction film "Metropolis." (Photo by Vernon Jones)

Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre (GHDT) previews its season with Fashion at The Florence at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at The Florence Theatre, 329 Gradle Drive, Carmel. Cocktail attire is requested. This 21-and-over fundraising event will also feature a silent auction.
