“Faces & Families of Jackson Township” will celebrate area’s historical heritage

As part of the Hamilton County Bicentennial Celebration, a photography collection is being created titled Faces and Families of Jackson Township.

Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Jackson Township, or once lived there and still has family who resides in Jackson Township, is invited to have their picture taken by a photographer and be included in this collection.

What a rare opportunity for your family to be memorialized as part of the community’s heritage. As a special gift, each family will receive a free digital family portrait.

Additionally, Jackson Township is seeking personal accounts of local family ancestry and township history to include in this collection. There will be space provided on the registration form to include such information. Forms will be available at the event or can be requested and printed in advance.

Everyone is eligible for the free digital portrait, from individuals to multi-generational families. Inclusion in the collection is optional.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 at Arcadia Christian Church, 26901 State Road 19, Arcadia. Appointments are encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. Sign up at tinyurl.com/JacksonTwpFaces.
