Expand your knowledge about voting, local history with LWV

The League of Women Voters of Hamilton County will hold two membership meetings this summer, both open to the public.

The first takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 22 at the Noblesville branch of the Hamilton East Public Library. The speakers will be Barb Tully and Pauline Spiegel of Indiana Vote By Mail. Although not expressly endorsed by the League of Women Voters, both organizations share a desire to improve voter access and engagement. The second meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 at the Fishers branch of the Hamilton East Public Library. The speaker will be Hamilton County Historian David Heighway. He will talk about notable women of Hamilton County going back to William Conner’s first wife in the early 1800s.
