The Sheridan Historical Society is sponsoring an old fashion pioneer-type ham and bean supper fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. this Saturday, July 14 at the Boxley Cabin in Veterans Park in uptown Sheridan. The price for a delicious heaping helping of ham and beans and a side of cornbread is $8. Drinks and deserts are also available for an additional charge.
In addition to the meal, the Society is also sponsoring a bluegrass jam session at the Godby gazebo. If you play an instrument you are encouraged to bring it along for some picking and grinning fun. So take down your fiddle and pick up the bow and get yourself and your best beau all gussied up and head on over to Veterans Park in Sheridan on Saturday evening for some good eating and lots of entertaining fun.
