Come to the Carmel Arts & Design District from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 for Allied Solutions’ Meet Me on Main. Make your way to Main Street and Range Line Road for an evening of art, shopping, music, and more.
Meet Me on Main is the City of Carmel’s monthly “second Saturday” event to highlight local galleries, restaurants and design-related businesses in the District. Art galleries and businesses will feature special events specially planned to enhance the art and design-related features of the District.
New this month! Meet Me on Main is part of Carmel’s inaugural The Arts In Autumn festival, which features family events in Midtown Plaza beginning at 3 p.m. For more information about the Arts In Autumn Festival, visit EventsInCarmel.com.

Visit the art galleries and businesses to enjoy their special offers, as well as special activities in the Arts & Design District:
- Live music stationed along the sidewalk throughout the district: Adam Gross at Anthony’s Chophouse Plaza (201 W. Main St.), Chris Rutkowski at Indiana Artisan (22 N. Range Line Road), and Classical Music Indy at Chocolate Café (43 W. Main St.)

- Free caricatures by Custom Eyes Design
- Carmel Fire Department and Koorsen Fire Dogs
- Pumpkin Carving demonstrations by Master Pumpkin Carver, Lee Saberson
- Glitter Tattoo Artist: Located in Midtown Plaza from 3 to 6 p.m. then in the breezeway next to Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream from 6 to 9 p.m. (111 W. Main St. #130)
- Balloon Twisters: Located in Midtown Plaza from 3 to 6 p.m. then at Circle Real Estate from 6 to 9 p.m. (30 W. Main St.)
- Strolling magician by Fantasy Face Painting Plus LLC: Located in Midtown Plaza from 3 to 6 p.m. then on Main Street from 6 to 9 p.m.
- New featured artists and special events at various art galleries located along Main Street and Range Line Road

Art on Main
Art on Main Gallery & Gifts, 111 W. Main St., #140. The front room show for October features two artists. Mitra Deldar has beautiful paintings for her exhibit titled “October Eye Fest.” A reception open to the public is set for 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7 at the gallery.
Also featured this month is award winning painter Mary Fuscaldo. Her exhibit titled “Water Works” features many new pieces all about water, from lakes to the sea.
In addition, there is autumn art throughout the gallery including pumpkin paintings, glass pumpkins, fall colored funky tops by Amy’s Funky Fibers, sunflower offerings, jewelry perfect for fall and more, by our 20 Indiana artists.
CCA Gallery & Gifts
CCA Gallery, 111 W. Main St., Suite 135. The Featured Artists for October are Jennifer Barnett with her wonderful whimsical pen and ink drawings and Kent Sousott and his beautiful fine wood furniture intricate wood boxes.
Circle Real Estate
Circle Real Estate, 30 W. Main St. Jason O’Neil, President of Circle Real Estate, has engaged Susan Brewer to curate local modern art for pop-up and special events at the Circle Arts and Design District office.
Brewer will have the space open from noon to 9 p.m. this Saturday as part of the Meet Me on Main event. Susan has a wealth of experience in commercial and residential curatorial services and is available for consultations from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and by appointment. Circle Real Estate is Indy’s premiere boutique real estate firm and is committed to giving back to the local artist community.
Indiana Artisan
Indiana Artisan, 22 N. Range Line Road. Jennifer Halvorson adds an interesting element to some of her blown-glass pieces: she tats lace that slips over brightly colored vessels designed as abstract forms of women and children. The Noblesville artist will demonstrate tatting, the vintage art of lacemaking from 5 to 9 p.m. at Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery.
